Well it was so great to install this lovely idea from microsoft, I installed it went to validate and all I ever get is this.Why did it not validate?It appears that your internet connection is having problems.We hope that you'll return later to retry the validation process so that you may enjoy the full benefits of genuine Microsoft software.right, now if some one would make a non half craped os I would switch right about now, also if it could run programs that are made for windows anyways.I guess I need to throw this pc out the door or reinstall the hole dam thing because of this stupid crap. I have been trying to get this to work all day since after work to no success same thing every time. Unfortunately, there is probably not much you could do short of a reinstall.
Microsoft Genuine Validate Windows 7
I have had one client this week that had the same problem. I cannot believe the nerve of these shops that use pirated software. Basically, the shop probably installed XP Corporate, which is just different enough from Pro that it cannot use the same key. If you have not opened the software yet, return it and call Microsoft. Let them know what shop did this to you, and MS will make you an offer on XP Pro that is less than what you paid for it (it might even be free).
If you don't want to get the shop in trouble, call the shop and just threaten them that if they don't take care of the problem, you will be calling MS. That should get them to give you a legit copy of Pro, but it will still have to be reinstalled.

MS is accusing me of being a thief. I don't think MS deserves my respect. I don't have to constantly take my car to Ford and show them my ownership papers so I can continue to drive my car. They have no LEGAL standing to ask this. This crap has been shot down in other countries but here everyone seems to be afraid of MS. 1) Are you referring to Windows Genuine Advantage tool from Microsoft website when you say “genuine windows test”?2) If yes, how are trying to download the tool? Is it using updates offered from Windows update or using a browser to download from Microsoft website?3) If using the updates from Windows update, are you able to install successfully other updates on the computer?4) If it is a browser, then which browser are you using to download the tool from Microsoft website?5) Do you receive any error message along with the error code? However, this program is being run due to the message taht I am not using a genuine Windows 7 program,4) If it is a browser, then which browser are you using to download the tool from Microsoft website?Same result with Firefox version 13 and Explorer version 9.
